Just like I have shared over the past few weeks, ActiveRain has designed a new theme for your ActiveBlogs. This weeks theme is called "Granite." It incorporates nice jewel tones with the sidebar image. It also allows for a Header image for your blog. Below is a screenshot of what it looks like, or you can always visit my outside blog to view it in real time.
Remember, changing your theme is a simple deal. All you have to do is head over to your outside blog by clicking on the link from the left hand side of your 'my home' page. Once on your outside blog, click the 'theme' link up at the top of the page and select the theme you want to use.
If you don't have a custom ActiveBlog on your own domain yet, Brad Andersohn takes you through the step by step of how to get it set up. If you have recently signed up for the Rainmaker upgrade, your ActiveBlog is included in your upgrade so make sure to get it set up.

It is good that you are adding graphics, and equally good that you run through this several times since not everyone sees every blog post, especially when someeone is subscribed to a lot of blogs.

I was going to task you about the Isabelle win thing, but see that you've explained above. I do like the new granite template, too!

Thanks Jeremy... The granite theme is very attractive. Only prob is, with old eyes like mine, the comments themselves are easy enought o read in white lettering, but it's hard for me to see the identity lines on who is making the comment. Like I say, probably just tired old eyes!
Love your hard work and the themes, but mostly love your being a good father! I know the feeling and there is nothing like it, right?

I love all the Outside Blog options you offer us. One suggestion - I strongly prefer strong/clear delineations between posts. I looked at your OB and found it hard to figure out the breaks.
This is true for many, which is why I haven't changed mine. I like the color block for comments and then the new title underlined.
Would it be possible to have a thin border around each post?

I like the idea of the granite theme, with the ability to add a picture to the header...but does it have to be that sullen rust color? Can't it be a wonderful shade of steel blue?

So I just realized (doh) I wasn't subscribed to your blog. Hmmmm. However, I have been voting for your beautiful daughter! Nice info about the outside blogs. I'm not sure what to do with mine . . and have been attempting to get advice from anyone from AR for months since I am going down a different path. ;-)
